Terms of use

These terms explain the limited purpose of this website and the separate advice portal. Academic Appeal Specialist provides general information, student advocacy support, drafting help, and document-based guidance. University outcomes remain controlled by the relevant institution, policy, evidence, deadline, and decision-maker.

Website information

The content on this website is general information for Australian university students and referral partners. It is not a guarantee of outcome and should not be treated as a substitute for advice tailored to your documents, notice, university policy, evidence, and deadline.

We try to keep pages accurate and useful, but university procedures change. You should always check the current policy, decision notice, portal instruction, and official deadline for your own institution.

Separate advice portal

Where direct document-based guidance is offered, it is handled through the separate advice portal at advice.academicappealspecialist.com.au. The company homepage does not process payment. Portal terms may include additional submission, upload, payment, report, and refund conditions that apply to that service.

A document-based review is usually limited to the material submitted at the time of intake. It is not ongoing representation, not live advocacy at a hearing, and not an unlimited re-review of later documents unless a separate arrangement is made.

Student responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information and complete documents.
  • Check and preserve your university deadline.
  • Use the correct submission channel required by your institution.
  • Do not upload material you are not entitled to share.
  • Review any draft or guidance carefully before relying on it.

Limitations and outcomes

Academic appeal, show cause, misconduct, late withdrawal, fee remission, and grade review matters are fact-sensitive. Support can improve structure, clarity, evidence organisation, and policy alignment, but it cannot responsibly promise that a university will accept an application, change a result, remove an allegation, or grant a particular remedy.

Refunds and cancellation

Refund rules depend on the service purchased and the stage reached. For a document-based advice portal service, a refund may be unavailable once intake has been submitted, documents have been reviewed, or a report has been prepared. If payment was made but intake was not submitted, contact support promptly so the position can be checked.

Acceptable use

You must not use the website or portal to upload malicious files, impersonate another person, submit knowingly false information, attempt to access another student’s file, or interfere with the security or operation of the service.
